This Purse has Maple bases and rims. The rims are lashed with black premium reed to match the genuine leather handle, latch and hinges. The cover of the purse has a Ebony hardwood backplate with an eco ivory scrimshaw plate with a costal ship and lighthouse scene. I love the contrast of the two woods and the lashing accentuates the colors. The rim has brass nails that match the brass latch. This is really a gorgeous purse.
