This cake plate has cherry hardwood bases and rims. Premium cane has been used to weave the set. This is an 8” cake plate and it has a handmade porcelain insert picturing the typical Nantucket basket filled with hydrangeas. The cake stand is woven in two separate pieces, the base and the plate, they are then connected making a gorgeous cake display. I can make this in any hardwood desired, just contact me for prices.
